Tottenham defender Michael Dawson admits that he is gutted not to be named in England’s World Cup squad.
Dawson was one of the seven players who were cut from Fabio Capello’s side, although he did not feature once in the build-up matches to the frustration of Harry Redknapp.
Dawson told talentnation.com: “I was gutted at not being involved, but I’ll certainly be watching all the games and cheering the lads on.
“The boys in South Africa are going to rock. We are going to win it [the World Cup].”
