Spurs captain Michael Dawson has insisted that the players want Luka Modric to stay at the club.
The Tottenham playmaker’s future at White Hart Lane is still up in the air with the player still interested in a move to Chelsea.
“You want to keep your best players. It is as simple as that,” said Dawson.
“I have said it before and the chairman has come out and said he is not selling. The lads certainly want him to stay.”
