William Gallas could be fit to face Newcastle United on 28th December.
The Spurs defender damaged his hamstring in the 3-3 draw against FC Twente and it had been feared he would be out for three weeks.
“William Gallas’ injury is not as bad as we first feared, he could be fit in another week,” manager Harry Redknapp said in The Times.
