Defender ‘likes’ comment on social media post linking him with Spurs move

Beijing Guoan centre back, Kim Min-Jae, may have just hinted that he would be interested in a Spurs move amidst transfer links with the North Londoners.

Kim, who is nicknamed ‘the monster’ for his strength and aggressiveness, is widely considered to be one of the best defenders in the Chinese Super League.

He is also a regular at the back for the South Korean national team and has played on numerous occasions with Tottenham’s very own Heung-min Son.

The 23-year-old is said to be attracting interest from the likes of RB Leipzig, Lazio, Porto, PSV Eindhoven, Southampton, and Inter Milan but it is Tottenham who have been established as the favourites for his signature (Titan Sports via Xinhua News Agency).

Reports indicate that Son Heung-min could play an important role in convincing his international teammate to make the move to North London this summer (The Sunday Mirror – 21/06/2020, page 72).

Kim has now taken to social media to ‘like’ a comment made by a Spurs fan on a post linking him with a potential move to Spurs.

And here is the comment that the Beijing Guoan star ‘liked’:

While Kim ‘liking’ the comment does not necessarily mean he is Spurs bound, it does sound like there is some truth behind our rumoured approach, with multiple outlets now reporting the news. This is a deal that would appeal to the club, not only because of the low transfer outlay but also because it makes sense for the club commercially.
