Jermain Defoe admits that he cannot wait to face Arsenal on Sunday and is full of confidence.
The Spurs striker is hoping that the players can raise their game to the levels which saw them beat Liverpool 4-0 last time out.
“Yes, this is the big one, a massive game and one we all want to play in,” Defoe, who already has four goals to his name this season, told Spurs’ official website.
“I was disappointed to miss Wigan through illness and that’s why I was delighted to play and score against Shamrock. I worked hard and I’m ready for Sunday.
“I’m sure the fans can’t wait, the players can’t wait and we’re ready.
“We’re confident, especially the way we are playing. If we put in the same intensity, movement and pass the ball as we did against Liverpool, then I can’t see why we can’t win the game.”
