Tottenham Hotspur could be set to lose another key player due to injury, with the news coming as a major blow to Ange Postecoglou’s men ahead of their all-important Europa League tie against AZ Alkmaar.
While Tottenham are still without some key players, their injury list is much shorter than it was around a month ago, with many first-team players returning to fitness over recent weeks.
According to reports, the likes of Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Ben Davies, Dominic Solanke and Richarlison are now close to returning to action, with all of them expected to be back within the next week.
However, just when things were looking positive for Ange Postecoglou on the injury front, the Tottenham head coach has now learned that he could soon be without another key man.

Dejan Kulusevski has a foot injury which is being assessed
The Daily Mail have revealed that Dejan Kulusevski has suffered a foot injury and could now set for a spell on the sidelines.
The report explains that the Swede is currently undergoing tests to determine the extent of the injury and his length of absence.
He looks certain to miss Thursday’s Europa League first leg against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday and the Premier League clash against Bournemouth this Sunday.
Tottenham will now assess the 24-year-old closely before assessing whether he could potentially feature for the club before the international break later this month.
Kukusevski has played a lot of football with little rest
Losing Kulusevski is undoubtedly a major blow for Tottenham, given how important a player he is for the side.
However, the former Juventus man appears physically and mentally drained as his form has been poor over the last couple of months.
This little break might actually help him recharge his batteries and come back fresher for the business end of the season, hopefully, to aid Tottenham’s assault on the Europa League trophy.
