Dele Alli celebrates his birthday with four old Spurs teammates – Including Gollini

Dele Alli celebrated his 26th birthday with the likes of Son Heung-min, Eric Dier, Pierluigi Gollini and Ryan Sessegnon.

Alli’s seven-year spell at Spurs came to an end during the January transfer window, with the midfielder completing a deadline day move to Everton.

Alli was a popular member in the changing room during his time in North London, with the midfielder’s bromances with the likes of Dier and Son getting a lot of attention.

Unfortunately for the England international, things have not gone to plan for him at Goodison Park since his move as he is yet to start a single game for his new club.

Irrespective of what the future holds for Alli, he will be remembered fondly by the Spurs faithful, particularly for the moments of magic he produced in his first four years at the club under Mauricio Pochettino.

The midfielder seemingly still has strong connections with his former Tottenham teammates, as he took to Instagram to post pictures with the likes of Dier, Son, Sessegnon and Gollini on his birthday.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do think Dele should have been moved on a year or two ago and that the club made a mistake by keeping him on for too long.

However, that does not change the fact that I will always remember the midfielder fondly for what he gave us. I am desperate for him to turn his career around but it seems like that might not happen at Everton.
