Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up to assist Dele Alli in his quest to get back up to speed ahead of a potential return to football.
Dele was the special guest for the North London derby two weeks ago, and the attacking midfielder received a fantastic reception from the fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 29-year-old gave Spurs fans some fantastic memories during his time at the club, and he continues to be a fan favourite.
Dele admitted that he has been touched by the love he has received from Tottenham fans in all corners of the world and also described the squad he was part of at Spurs as a ‘family’.

The attacking midfielder has been without a club since being released by Como last summer.
Dele has revealed that he is keen to get back playing and admitted that he is hopeful it may not be ‘too long’ before he is back on the pitch.
It appears that Spurs are assisting the 29-year-old get back to full fitness ahead of his possible return to football, with the England international pictured training at Hotspur Way this week.
There is no shortage of interest in Dele
The midfielder remains a free agent for now, but we have heard over recent months that Dele has received several contract offers from La Liga clubs.
Some sources have also suggested that the former Tottenham man could return to where his footballing journey first started.
Dele is allegedly considering a fairytale return to MK Dons, where he came through the ranks and made a huge impact before earning a move to Spurs.
