Dele Alli has reacted on social media to a clip of the Tottenham fans signing his name in the lead-up to the first leg of their Europa League semifinal against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.
The atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has left a lot to be desired for much of the season, which is to be expected, given the team’s continued struggles domestically.
However, the Spurs fans found their voice for the clash against Bodo/Glimt, creating an electric atmosphere even before kick-off.
Ange Postecoglou said that the Tottenham fans played a “massive role” in pushing the players on, admitting that the supporters gave a lot of energy to the side during their 3-1 win.

Dele Alli reacts to Tottenham fans signing his famous chant
Ahead of kick-off, the Tottenham fans were running through all their classic chants, and unsurprisingly, ‘We’ve got Dele Alli’, which has always been one of their favourites, was sung loudly and proudly.
Dele continues to be a huge fan favourite at Spurs, five years on from his departure, and the Como man reacted emotionally to seeing the Tottenham Hotspur faithful sing his name.
The 28-year-old responded with a crying eyes emoji followed by a series of heart emojis, clearly moved by the whole thing.
Dele will always hold a special place in the hearts of Spurs fans
Irrespective of what happens in Dele’s career, Tottenham fans will never forget the brilliant moments he gave them over the course of his five-year stay at the club.
While Mauricio Pochettino’s side may have failed to deliver a trophy, the spirit and flair with which they played on the pitch have left an indelible mark on the fan base, which is everyone from that era will always be revered at N17.
If Tottenham do win the Europa League this month, one can bet that the likes of Kane, Dele, Alderweireld, Rose, Vertonghen, Dembele, Wanyama, and others from that era will celebrate as much as any of us, as they have remained Spurs through and through.
