Dele Alli responds to bottle incident with funny social media post

Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a rare but well-deserved win away to Arsenal on Wednesday, only their second victory ever at the Emirates.

One man who stood out as a clear man of the match was 22-year-old Dele Alli, who set up the opening Heung Min Son goal with a pin point pass before adding a goal of his own in the second half.

Dele latched onto a perfect Kane through ball, waiting for the on-rushing Cech, before lifting the ball over his head with the outside of his boot.

However, there was one sour note in the game for Alli, as he appeared to be struck by a water bottle thrown by an Arsenal ‘fan’.

Dele held his temper well, merely flashing the score line on his fingers for the embarrassing crowd member.

The midfielder later took to Instagram to mock the entire silly situation with a perfectly-timed photo, and a witty caption to boot.
