Dele Alli reveals the secret for Tottenham moving forward

Tottenham Hotspur showed they are here to compete with the title challengers this season by smashing Chelsea 3-1 at Wembley this weekend.

Goals from Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Heung Min Son sank the unbeaten Chelsea ship.

In truth, Chelsea were lucky not to concede six or seven, as Spurs pummelled their goal with shots on target.

This puts Spurs up into third in the table, just three points behind Liverpool in second, and five behind City at the top of the tree.

Tottenham are going to have to continue their fine form in the Prem if they are to keep up with those two, with the remaining unbeaten sides not looking as if they’ll drop many points.

Spurs also have a must-win fixture against Inter Milan this week to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

A North London derby against Arsenal follows this next weekend, finishing up an intense week of football for Spurs.

Dele Alli believes the key is to keep going at the level they showed versus the Blues.

The Daily Mail report he said: “We have to keep that as our level. We can’t drop off, and we have to improve as well. We’ve got a busy month and some really tough fixtures, and it gives us confidence going into those games that we can beat anyone.

“Chelsea are a top side, they have some amazing players and they’ve been in great form as well. So to perform the way we did, to dominate the game so much, to have so many chances, we’ve got to keep that up.

“Like I said, we just need to keep this form up and improve, not drop off or take our foot off the pedal just because we got a good win.

“We just have to go into the next games, we know how important they are, just focus on the next game, take the positives from this game, and there are still things we need to improve on.”
