Dele Alli’s likes two posts on Twitter about his situation at Spurs

Some eagle eyed Tottenham Hotspur fans have been monitoring Dele Alli’s activity on Twitter with interest over the last 24 hours.

The Spurs midfielder has ‘liked’ two posts which both include support for him to be playing regular first team football.

talkSPORT featured a post which included a snippet of an interview with Harry Redknapp in which the former boss claimed that Dele should be helping Spurs to secure a top four finish in the Premier League this season.

A further post from Sky Sports included video footage of an interview with Paul Merson where the former Arsenal midfielder described Dele as one of England’s best talents and believes that Tottenham are missing out by not playing the 24-year-old.

Dele has played just 74 minutes of Premier League football this season and has just twelve appearances in all competitions under his belt after falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho (transfermarkt).

SpursWeb Opinion

It is clear that Dele just wants to play football and is frustrated at the lack of opportunities, especially with the upcoming Euros this summer.

We were toothless in attack against Brighton and the sooner he returns to fitness, he should return to the squad, however Mourinho’s track record proves that it’s not as simple as that.  Just ask the likes of Luke Shaw.
