Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Antonio Conte’s team selection for this afternoon’s FA Cup third-round match against Morecambe.
The game will mark the first-ever clash between Tottenham and Morecambe in any competition.
Tottenham have been eliminated from this stage of the cup competition just once in their last 15 campaigns
Conte has made eight changes from the side which lost at Chelsea in midweek with Dele Alli looking like he will be playing up top while Bryan Gil and Joe Rodon make their first starts since November.
Morecambe boss Stephen Robinson was set to return to the club where he came through the ranks and represented the first team twice in the 1990s, only for the manager to test positive for Covid-19 ahead of the trip.
