Spurs target happy to stay

White Hart Lane - Tottenham Hotspur Football News

Tottenham target Mousa Dembele insists that he is happy to remain a Fulham player.

Internet speculation has been awash linking the 24-year-old with a move to White Hart Lane along with Manchester United, Chelsea and even Arsenal.

A £10million figure has been mentioned as the price tag of the Belgium international, who insists he is happy at Craven Cottage and loves playing under big Martin Jol.

Dembele claims that it’s the confidence which Jol gives him is the catalyst in why he wants to stay. At Spurs Harry Redknapp is known for his man management skills so he would certainly thrive under Hary if a move did surface.

“I’m very happy to stay at Fulham, especially because of the boss,” he told the Fulham Chronicle.

“I think it’s very important to have the backing of the manager and he’s a coach who gives me a lot of confidence – that’s why I feel I owe it to the gaffer as well.

“I think every player needs that and I’m no different. I go to training every day and work with joy. It’s a fantastic club and I’m not in a hurry to move anywhere.”
