Deportivo La Coruna have failed in an attempt to sign Tottenham’s Giovani Dos Santos.
The Mexican winger is wanted by the La Liga outfit on loan, but they revealed that he will not be able to join until January, due to loan restrictions.
Deportivo sporting director Ricardo Moar said: “It is impossible to bring Giovani to Galicia.
“We like him very much but the Spanish Football Federation has clarified we cannot bring a foreign player in. They would have to be (based in Spain).”
