Tottenham have a crucial final few games of the season coming up, with the season having the potential to end in glory or even a complete disaster.
Tottenham not only find themselves with a good shot of progressing into the final four of the Champions League, but they also need to win most of their Premier League games in order to qualify for next season’s competition.
Pochettino’s men, however, will have to cope without Harry Kane after the striker suffered yet another ankle injury in the Champions League game against Manchester City on Tuesday night.
With Kane expected to be out for the rest of the season, Spurs have to rely on the likes of Son Heung-Min, Lucas Moura and Fernando Llorente to provide them with the firepower up front.
Besides these players, Spurs also have an additional striker in their squad who has been largely forgotten about- Vincent Janssen.
The Dutchman has hardly featured in recent seasons under Pochettino but the club released an update today announcing that he could return to training next week.
While some Spurs fans thought that the announcement reeked of desperation, others welcomed the possibility of a first-team return for Janssen.
Oh boy, it can’t be can it? Surely not
