The increasing disconnect between the Tottenham players and supporters is a big topic of discussion in the Spurs dressing room.
Some may fear that the relationship between the Spurs supporters and the current Tottenham squad is getting to a point of no return.
After their 2-1 loss to Fulham, where the team were once again booed very loudly by the supporters, Pedro Porro was angered when Lucas Bergvall decided to applaud the fans after the game.
Thomas Frank said that it was unacceptable for Tottenham fans to boo Guglielmo Vicario during the game, accusing those who did of not being real Spurs fans.

Tottenham players are discussing disconnect with the fan base
The Telegraph have now revealed that the topic of the worsening relationship between the players and the fans is being discussed in detail by the squad.
The issue is viewed as critical by the players, with club sources acknowledging that the topic was also discussed following their 1-0 loss to Chelsea at home earlier this month.
Club insiders believe that it would be even more damaging if these issues are ignored or brushed under the carpet.
The outlet adds that this is not the first set of Tottenham players who have had concerns about their relationship with the club’s fans, with the same issue also being a point of discussion in previous years.
Spurs players have adopted a new convention to show solidarity
The Telegraph claims that the Tottenham players have now adopted a new convention: gathering together in the centre circle at the end of the first half and leaving the pitch together.
They are doing this in order to demonstrate their solidarity as a squad regardless of the atmosphere at the stadium.
The Tottenham players are said to have spoken their minds about their feelings towards the fans after many of them booed Guglielmo Vicario and even cheered him ironically during the Lilywhites’ loss to Fulham.
