Tottenham Hotspur are still hopeful of completing a deal for Real Madrid’s Lassana Diarra.
Reports from Spain had suggested the proposed move for the midfielder could have stalled, but Redknapp insists the deal is still alive.
Redknapp said: “Things haven’t broken down. “There is still a good chance. the chairman is working on it.
“I signed him at Portsmouth and they sold him for £22million.
“He’s real talent, a fantastic player and it’s a real possibility still.”
