Tottenham Hotspur take on German League leaders Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night, as both are looking to get off to a good start in their round of 16 battle.
The first leg is due to be played at Wembley, with the reverse fixture in Germany happening in early March.
One man Tottenham will have to watch out for is young Jadon Sancho, ex-Man City man and current pacey England prospect.
Sancho has been on fire this season, and with injuries to Danny Rose and Ben Davies, you can bet he will be attacking down that Dortmund right all evening.
Pochettino was asked today what he thought of the young winger, and whether he had tried to sign him in the past.
While Poch declined to talk about rumours, as usual, the way he talked about Jadon Sancho implies Tottenham were at least keeping an eye on him at one point or another.
He said (Football London): “Ah, you know I don’t talk about that. Rumours.
“I am not too much impressed [surprised] about him. We knew very well that he was capable to do what he is doing now with game time. We have seen the quality that he was showing in Manchester City or in his national team. I think we were talking in the last few years that he was a massive prospect to be a very good player. Of course he is showing now in Germany that he can cope with the pressure to play in the Bundesliga or in the Champions League. And no surprise me. His talent is there and he’s a very talented player.”
