Micky Hazard took to Twitter yesterday evening to react to Tottenham Hotspur’s narrow 1-0 victory against Fulham.
Scott Parker’s side were by far the more livelier in the second half with Hugo Lloris produced a fine save to tip Joachim Andersen’s header on to the crossbar.
Fulham thought that they had found an equaliser when a video assistant referee decision ruled out Josh Maja’s equaliser after it was adjudged that Mario Lemina had handballed in the build-up to the goal despite his arm being by his side when it was stuck as a result of Davinson Sanchez’s clearance.
The result means that Spurs have recorded consecutive Premier League victories for the first time since November and are now within touching distance of the top four.
Hazard was pleased with the display from Jose Mourinho’s side in the first half but believed that the second half was a stark contrast in which they rarely threatened in the final third.
Very good first half poor second half we didn’t get going but I will take the win COYSSS
