Dimitar Berbatov, who has first-hand experience swapping Tottenham for a big Manchester club, has claimed Harry Kane will be feeling awful at the moment.
The Bulgarian legend argued that Kane will be second-guessing his decisions, while also feeling as if he has to do something to force a move through.
This comes after Kane missed training at the start of this week as he looks to force through a North London exit this summer.
The Telegraph later revealed that Kane wasn’t even in the country and would return to the UK later this week before undergoing a self-isolation period.
Manchester City are said to be confident of their ability to sign the Tottenham striker this summer, with the two sides set to meet on the opening weekend of the season.
Berbatov believes that Kane’s agent, his brother Charlie, will be in contact with City to swap ideas on how to do things.
He said (Betfair – as relayed by Daily Mail): “Right now, Harry Kane will be feeling like s***.
“He will feel all this emotion going through his head, ‘am I doing the right thing, is that the best possible way for us to part ways?’
