Tottenham Hotspur went nearly 18-months without signing a single player, spanning across the 2018/19 season and this summer’s transfer window.
However, Daniel Levy and co finally ended the drought at the start of July 2019 when they signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United for £10m (BBC).
The teenager didn’t hang around for too long in North London, as Spurs loaned him straight back to the Championship side for the 2019/20 season.
Unfortunately, that’s where things started to go downhill for the promising Spurs youngster. Despite making a number of appearances in the first team last season, Clarke has yet to appear in the Championship at the start of this campaign.
Clarke has played three cup games and appeared a number of times for the under 23 side so far this season at Leeds (WhoScored), and he seems to be frustrated by the lack of senior action.
Leeds fans are not happy either, as some have hit out at Clarke for apparently ignoring his replacement, Nial Huggins, when being subbed off for the U23s against Bristol City.
This player needs sending back to his parent club asap

disgusting from Clarke to just totally ignore Huggins as he walked off………….This is NOT the LEEDS way

Send him back to the yids. We were lucky to get all that money for him.

Clarke did not look happy, not even shaking the hand of the player coming on in his place.

Clarke thinks he’s netter than he really is. Ian Harte has handled him badly. Think he should go back to Spurs now

Think he totally ignored Huggins. What was that?

fucking attitude on him!

Give him a break, he's a young lad who was probably gutted at being subbed. Nothing personal against Huggins I'm sure, just be disappointed with himself and frustrated at how his season is going. Blown out of proportion.
