‘Dismal performance’ – Some fans react to Spurs’ first-half display against West Ham

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to react to Tottenham Hotspur’s first half performance against West Ham United this afternoon with the score level at 0-0.

The Hammers started the match as the brighter of the two sides, having dominated the opening ten minutes of the derby at the London Stadium and had a good chance to go ahead courtesy of a volley from Pablo Fornals.

Spurs had chances of their own to take the lead, firstly when Lucas Moura fired over the bar when Heung-min Son looked to have been a better option to play the ball to and later, the South Korean saw his effort saved low by Lukasz Fabianski.

The North Londoners also had a call for a penalty turned down by VAR when Tanguy Ndombele drove into the box and saw Kurt Zouma step on the foot of the Frenchman.

Harry Kane’s best chance came three minutes before the interval after he saw his header tipped over the bar.

Here is a selection of thoughts from the Spurs support on what they have witnessed during the opening forty-five minutes.
