Documentary on current Tottenham star set to be released on Amazon Prime today

According to Variety Magazine, a new documentary about Tottenham star Son Heung-min is set to be released on Amazon Prime Video UK today.

Son is not just one of the best players in the Premier League but is also one of the most popular famous faces back in his native South Korea.

The 28-year-old’s popularity back in his home country is similar to that of A-list movie stars and pop stars in the UK and US.

The forward has already created plenty of history, being named the Korean Footballer of the Year for a record five times, while also taking home the FIFA Puskas award last month.

Variety Magazine reveal that there will now be a 90-minute feature documentary about the Tottenham star, which focuses on his life in 2019.

The documentary reportedly features testimonials from teammates and fellow professionals, including Thierry Henry and Mauricio Pochettino.

It is adapted from an original series produced by CJENM’s Factual Studios for broadcast on tvN in South Korea, with the support of the UK’s Zig Zag Productions and directed by Jong-hoon Park.
