Giovani dos Santos is expected to join Galatasaray on loan for the remainder of the season.

According to press reports, the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is on the verge of a switch to the Turkish giants in order to get regular first-team football before the World Cup this summer.

Dos Santos has failed to hold down a regular first-team place under Harry Redknapp and looks as if the 20-year-old’s future lies away from White Hart Lane.

  1. Well done Harry! Get rid of all our young talent! I m sure it will turn in a permanent deal! I can’t see Spurs getting anywhere in the future if we keep letting our young talents go! EVery fan has been screaming at harry to give GDS a chance, and this happens! Sigh. So damn frustrating. Yes Mr.Rednapp, keep playing keane and jenas and we will finish mid-table, again, as usual. If that happens, we need a new manager. We got such a talented squad but he just doesnt know what to do with it.

  2. I would like to see Dos Santos given a chance but who for? Maybe he could start down the right wing while Lennon is out. That means Modric or Nico have to be dropped though. Seems a sin to lose Dos Santos but keep JJ at the club! Ahhhhh!

  3. I like Harry but he is like your favorite uncle that embarrass you by telling lies Harry said after Dossy played against Preston its a shame he looked great and i cant wait for him to get fit then he gets fit nothing. Then we hear is is going on loan,Bostock plays a cameo role last year all us fans thought he would play more games nothing back to the under 18 and borderm .This lad could have bean playing for Palace and we send him in a dog fight to Brentford Harry thats backwards not forwards Lampard was at west ham from a kid this lad had played for Palace for gods sake and we have sent him Backwards.Townsend is staring for Orient and M K Dons he should be in our squad.and PAV the less said the better.

  4. DAVSPUR…I’m with you on that one completely. Mr. Redknapp has made it CLEAR he has no intention in developing any of our young talent. wonder what would happen if young Lennon had been breaking into the team during Harry’s tenure…He would probably have been shipped to Galatasaray too.,

  5. Harry Redknapp has the best record of any Spurs manager for a long time. Even if we don’t get fourth he’s on course to gain our best points tally in the history of the Premiership.

There are only eleven starting places and a lot of good players with more experience than GDS sitting on the bench. It would be an equal shame if Bentley left without showing us his best.

Personally I think a loan spell in a physical league like the Turkish one can only add to his education.
