Dos Santos ruled out for ‘a good few weeks’

Harry Redknapp has revealed that Tottenham attacker Giovani dos Santos is going to be out for ‘a good few weeks’.

The Mexican international picked up an ankle injury in the 5-1 Carling Cup win at Preston North End.

Dos Santos had been looked to be ready to have another chance to impress Redknapp until he suffered his injury.

“He is going to be out for a good few weeks unfortunately,” Redknapp told the club’s official website.

“He came back and was in good form and showed a good attitude and looked nice and sharp so this is a setback.”
