Stop with the threats GDS and prove your worth

Giovani dos Santos has issued an ultimatum to Tottenham by claiming that he will leave the club on a free transfer in six months if he does not get regular football.

The Mexican is in the final year of his contract at White Hart Lane. How he can make such claims is absolutely absurd, he has the opportunity to impress a new manager in the form of Andre Villas-Boas to prove he can finally cut it at Spurs. The ball is in his court.

AVB seems to be willing to give every player the chance to put their hand up and provide their worth. Dos Santos needs to knuckle down and start talking with his feet rather than threats of leaving on a free.

It’s over to you GDS.

“I’m either leaving the club this summer, or I’ll sign for another club for free in six months time,” Dos Santos told Medio Tiempo.

“I am very calm [about my future]. I have a contract with Tottenham and I don’t know what will happen. I might leave the club. I’m at a good team, but I want to play. However, it’s not my decision as to whether Tottenham sell me or hold on to me.”
