The Sunday Express are reporting that Manchester City have re-entered the race for David Bentley.
The Tottenham Hotspur winger has found himself in the papers for the wrong reasons this week, after he was charged with drink-driving.
Everton are also keen on the 24-year-old, with both clubs prepared to pay £9million for the England international.
Bentley cost Spurs £15million from Blackburn Rovers last summer.
