Tottenham Hotspur may be in need of a new centre-forward after they lost Fernando Llorente in the summer, with the Spaniard leaving the club on a free and joining Napoli.
Llorente was an effective target man for the Lilywhites last season, particularly in the Champions League, scoring goals in the knockout rounds against Borussia Dortmund and Man City.
His Plan B style of attack also set up Lucas Moura’s third against Ajax, the goal that saw Spurs reach their first-ever Champions League final.
With Llorente gone and Vincent Janssen sold, Harry Kane remains the club’s only out-and-out senior striker, with the likes of Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura able to cover.
However, a report from Calcio Mercato has now linked Spurs with a move for Juventus target man, Mario Mandzukic.
The report states that a deal between Juve and Man United is far from agreed. This comes after the two clubs apparently held talks in London, according to Corriere dello Sport (as relayed by Sports Witness). Some Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter:

Yes of course
Mandzukic brings years of experience into the team and he has a winning mentality only few players have.
Not to mention his natural fitness is brilliant and is far better than Llorente.
