Duncan Alexander has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have scored more goals in the Premier League this season since Antonio Conte took over than Arsenal have through the entire campaign.
Spurs were struggling to create chances while also leaking goals under Nuno Espirito Santo and when Conte replaced the Portuguese coach in November, a place in the top four seemed well out of the Lilywhites’ reach.
Fast forward five months and Tottenham are now three points clear of Arsenal in fourth place and look to be hitting form at just the right time.
While Conte has certainly made the Spurs defence more solid, their attack has also clicked into gear over recent months, with the North Londoners blowing opposition teams away.
With their 4-0 win at Villa Park on Saturday, Conte’s men have scored 21 goals in their last six Premier League games while conceding just five.
That also means that the Lilywhites have now found the back of the net more times since November than the Gunners have throughout the season.

What these big wins have done is essentially give us a point extra due to the vastly superior goal difference we now have compared to Arsenal. For all intents and purposes, we are now four points clear of the Gunners, which is huge in the race for fourth place.
