Eric Dier’s brutal put down of Spurs team-mate on social media

With the Premier League currently on ice due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has not stopped the rivalry between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

Both sides were due to meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a top flight clash on Friday evening before the competition was suspended.

It did not stop Tottenham’s Ryan Sessegnon and West Ham’s Michail Antonio from using their imagination to allow the game to go ahead in a battle between the pair online in a game of FIFA.

The game was set up for Friday with the loser having to do a full apology in the other team’s shirt; thankfully it was Sessegnon who came out on top with a 2-0 win.

Ahead of the encounter, Eric Dier brutally trolled his team-mate when he commented on Sessegnon’s Instagram post by asking: “Why are we putting out a reserve player for this game?”

Opinion

It’s great to see the banter between the players still exists despite the season grinding to a halt. Hopefully, things can soon return to normal and the platers can once again do their talking on the pitch.
