Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth announced his engagement to girlfriend Ariana this morning on social media.
It has been a season of career milestones for the young Argentine on the pitch, but that hasn’t stopped him achieving great things in his personal life too.
Fellow countryman Erik Lamela was straight in with a reply to his international team mate on Instagram.
The two players have a strong bond at Tottenham, along with Paulo Gazzaniga, forming a strong Argentine contingent.
All three are likely to start on the bench for Tottenham against Man United at the weekend, so they will have plenty of time for wedding talk.
Lamela replied to Foyth’s original Instagram post, stating ‘Go Juanito! Invite me or I’ll kill you.’
I’m sure there is a nice sentiment in there somewhere, but at least Lamela seems excited for the big day.
