The first half between Tottenham Hotspur and Everton at Goodison Park has been a tight affair with neither side creating any clear cut chances.
With Harry Kane missing due to injury, Mauricio Pochettino chose to start with Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen up front, while Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko swept in front of the back four.
Both sides desperately need the three points but based on the first half performance, it looks as if both sides are too scared to lose.
Neither goalkeeper had too much to do and while some fans were extremely unconvinced by the display while others were quite critical of Eriksen’s performance.
The Dane looked sloppy yet again and gave the ball away multiple times through the half. Some fans were quite unhappy to see the 27-year-old starting in the first place and urged Pochettino to take him off at half time.

Spurs Web Opinion
We seem to get a lot of joy when the likes of Alli, Eriksen, and Son drop into those little spaces in front of the Everton backline and are found by Ndombele. However, they seem to be overloading us out wide as neither Eriksen nor Son is tracking Sidibe and Digne back. So that is one area we need to fix.
