Liverpool lead Tottenham 1-0 at the half time interval in what has been an entertaining game so far.

Pochettino set the team up with a back 5, Moussa Sissoko as the midfielder anchor partnering Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, behind Lucas Moura and Harry Kane up front.

Tottenham started the game well and looked to be in control of the contest but the Reds took the lead against the run of play when Roberto Firmino headed in a lovely cross by Andrew Robertson.

Liverpool have threatened to double the lead several times since then but Spurs have remained strong at the back.

While Tottenham have also had their moments, they have so far let themselves down in the final third.

Some Spurs fans weren’t too happy with the performances of some of their offensive players with Eriksen, in particular, coming in for some flak on social media.

Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted to the first half-performance:

  1. Eriksen has been a great servant to the club in the past but I honestly don’t want to see him a Spurs shirt ever again. We froze out Walker for disloyalty but at least Walker was still playing for the shirt. Lamela is fit and should have started today and should start the rest of the season. The rest of the team played their hearts out but no playmaker really proved crucial.

Cant believe the BS Lloris was catching from the commentators for spilling a short range reflex save, which was accidentally knocked in by Toby. Luck and Eriksen weren’t with us today but that was a hugely encouraging performance by the rest of the team.
