ESPN reports when Tottenham v Man City will be played

It has been well documented that Spurs’ brand new 62,000 seat stadium will not be ready for the original grand opening at home to Liverpool on the 15th September.

However, what is still uncertain is when and where fixtures in late October, November and December will be played, as they are currently still TBC.

One fixture that is causing a particular head ache is the game against Manchester City, as Wembley is already booked up for an NFL game that day.

Tottenham have been denied the right to delay or reverse the fixture, and they are not keen on finding what would be a fourth home ground for the season, after they applied to play a League Cup game at Stadium MK.

However, ESPN have now reported that their sources say Tottenham and Man City have reached an agreement, deciding to play the fixture at Wembley a day after the NFL game.

The fixture would take place on Monday October 29, and would be an evening game.

What do you think? Was this the best possible outcome?
