Ange Postecoglou will be breathing a huge sigh of relief as some of his Tottenham players who were in danger of Europa League suspension avoided a booking in the second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt. We now take a look at whether any Spurs player is in danger of a suspension ahead of the semifinal against Bodo/Glimt.
Going into the second leg of Tottenham’s Europa League quarterfinal at Deutsche Bank Park, three Spurs players were walking a disciplinary tightrope.
Yves Bissouma, Lucas Bergvall and Dejan Kulusevski were all one booking away from a one-match ban, which meant that they were at risk of missing the first leg of the semifinal had they been shown a yellow card in Germany.
However, the former Brighton man was an unused substitute at Frankfurt while the two Swedish players were able to maintain their composure and avoid a booking.

Are any other Tottenham players at risk of suspension ahead of the Europa League semi-final?
Football.London have now pointed out that, according to UEFA’s rules, yellow cards are all wiped out after the quarterfinal stage, which means that Kulusevski, Bergvall and Bissouma will not have to tread cautiously in the semifinal.
The report points out that Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur and Brennan Johnson were booked in Frankfurt last Thursday, but the trio were never in any danger of being suspended for the semifinals.
This is because Bentancur had already served a ban for three yellows, while Romero and Johnson both picked up their first cautions of the Europa League campaign.
Ange Postecoglou may be sweating on the fitness of key Spurs man
While the Tottenham boss may not have any suspensions to worry about, one senior Spurs man appears to be in a race against time to be fit for the semifinal.
Ange Poostecoglou has said that he is not sure when Heung-min Son will be back after the South Korean missed the second leg against Eintracht with a foot injury.
The Australian will be desperate for his captain to be available for the big semifinal and final clashes, given the leadership he offers to the side and the psychological impact his presence has on the opposition.
