European giants have now ‘approached’ Spurs star ‘again’ – Journalist reports

Sport Bild reporter Christian Falk has revealed that Bayern Munich have now made another approach for Harry Kane ahead of the summer transfer window.

Over the last couple of weeks, Manchester United have been put forward as Kane’s most likely destination in the summer if he is to leave Spurs.

The Daily Star claimed recently that the Old Trafford hierarchy believe they can strike a deal worth £80m plus add-ons for the England captain.

It has also emerged that Daniel Levy would prefer to sell the 29-year-old to a foreign club like Bayern rather than to a Premier League rival and that the Spurs chairman would even be prepared to accept a lower fee from a non-English club (The Telegraph).

It remains to be seen whether Kane would be open to leaving the Premier League, given that he is chasing Alan Shearer’s record, but according to Falk’s latest information, Bayern have not yet given up on the Tottenham man yet.

The journalist said on his YouTube channel (28/04/23 as translated by Sport Witness): “There is a striker list at Bayern, and they are working off it, that’s why Harry Kane has been approached again.

“There’s still been no decision and the number one target remains Victor Osimhen from Napoli or Kolo Muani.

“The alternative is Rasmus Højlund at Atalanta although all four are also targets for Manchester United.”

While one can understand why the likes of Bayern and PSG might be keeping an eye on Kane’s situation, it is clear that the striker is not going to leave the Premier League this summer.

Man Utd remain the striker’s only realistic destination and there is no doubt that Levy is going to make negotiations very hard for the Red Devils hierarchy.
