European giants planning ‘attack’ for Spurs midfielder but Levy remains ‘unyielding’

It was reported in the Italian media last week that Inter Milan remained interested in signing either Tanguy Ndombele from Spurs or N’Golo Kante from Chelsea this summer (Gazetta dello Sport – via Sport Witness).

However, it was suggested that Ndombele represented the easier of the two for Conte and Inter to land, perhaps due to his sub-par first season with the Lilywhites.

Inter’s interest in signing Ndombele was reinforced by RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi this week, who suggested that the player was a top priority (via Sport Witness).

The report from Bouhafsi claimed that Conte refused to let go of the 23-year-old after already contacting the North London club multiple times.

While the Italian club are said to be ‘coming back on the attack in the coming days’ in another attempt to land the French international, Daniel Levy is reportedly ‘unyielding’ in his response that Ndombele is not for sale.

Meanwhile, the Spurs midfielder missed out on the France squad today as reports emerged that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
