‘Eventful 90 mins’ – Harry Kane reacts to win 3-2 win over Vitesse Arnhem

Harry Kane has taken to social media to express his delight at Tottenham managing to come away with all three points from the Europa Conference League clash against Vitesse Arnhem.

Antonio Conte would have hoped for a smoother start to his career as the Spurs head coach than what transpired at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday.

The Italian watched his race into a 3-0 lead within the first half-hour before giving away two cheap goals just before half-time.

The Cristian Romero sending off in the 59th minute further complicated matters for the home side but they managed to hold on to all three points.

Kane set up Lucas Moura’s goal in the first half and held the ball up impressively once the Lilywhites went down to ten men.

The England captain was pleased that the side were able to make a winning start to Conte’s reign and move up to second place in Group G.

A draw yesterday would have made passage to the knockout stages quite tricky, particularly given that we still have to play Rennes. So, holding on for all three points was extremely crucial. I thought Kane’s body language looked much better yesterday compared to what we have seen from him so far this season.
