Everton announce injury blow ahead of Tottenham clash in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur need all the help and luck they can get in the Premier League at the moment after recording just three wins out of ten matches.

Spurs have lost four, including most recently away to Liverpool, and drawn the remaining three. The Lilywhites now face another tough trip to Merseyside next up in the league.

Everton have been enduring their own problems this season, sitting below even Spurs in the table. Tottenham are on 12 points in 11th, while Everton remain in 16th on 10 points.

A win for the Toffees would see them leapfrog Spurs, while a win for Pochettino’s men would get them back on track domestically.

Football London have now reported the Bernard, the Everton winger, was seen leaving the Amex Stadium on crutches at the weekend after he was taken off after just half an hour.

Sky Sports reported that Bernard would be out for a lengthy spell after damaging his knee ligaments, while Everton confirmed the injury.

Bernard has played eight of Everton’s 10 Premier League games this season, scoring two goals in the process (Transfer Markt).
