Everton look to Rose

World Cup bound Danny Rose is the subject of interest from Everton, according to reports.

Rose has been been linked with both Manchester clubs, United and City, for much of the season, but both clubs have cooled their interest in Rose in recent weeks, with United preferring Alex Sandro, the Juventus star, and City willing to keep faith in Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph.

Rose’s future has been up in the air since his ill advised interview with The Sun last year and the same paper says Everton have entered the race for him.

Following the departure of Sam Allardyce the Toffees are playing a major summer overhaul, and they feel they have a free run at Rose now United and City are not actively pursuing the 27-year-old England man.

The defender made just 17 appearances in 2017/18, with injury forcing him to miss a lot of the season however he remains rated as one of the finest full-backs in the league.

The article adds that Daniel Levy is not willing to sell Rose for a bargain price, with the report saying a minimum bid of £40m will be required to sign him.

Ifs I doubt that Everton will have the cash to buy him but it’s unlikely Rose would swap Champions League for no European football. Strangers things I guess. Do you think Rose might head to Goodison? Let us know your thoughts
