Ex-player claims this Spurs man is as good as Drogba and Ibrahimovic

Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has been on fire yet again for both his club and country this season, despite only being in December.

Kane currently boasts 13 goals in 18 games for Spurs in all competitions this season, with six coming in the Champions League (Transfer Markt).

Since the start of the 2019/20 campaign, Kane has also bagged 10 goals and five assists for England in the EURO 2020 qualifying campaign (Transfer Markt).

That makes for 32 goals in 45 games for England, and 177 goals in 270 games for Tottenham in the career of Harry Kane, and he hasn’t even turned 27 (Wikipedia).

Kane even recently broke the record for the fastest player to ever score 20 goals in the Champions League, reaching the landmark in just 24 games.

Ex-player, Toby Cascarino, believes that ane has gone under the radar this year, claiming that he has bagged 23 goals in 23 games. He also added that Kane is as good as Costa, Drogba, and Ibrahimovic, all strikers Mourinho has managed in the past.

Cascarino said (Weekend Sports Breakfast – TalkSPORT – 01/12/19 at 6:30 am): “I was looking at Harry Kane’s stats and I just thought that he’s gone really under the radar. He’s played 23 games and got 23 goals for club and country. That’s Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’s numbers.

“It does seem as though he’s not having a great season [because of Spurs’ start to the season] – the one thing I think Jose will do with Harry Kane is say look ‘you’re as good a centre-forward as I have ever had. I’ve had Zlatan at Inter, I’ve had Drogba. I’ve had Costa. You are as good as them. But you haven’t won as much as them’.”
