Ex-Spurs academy starlet is on fire in Eredivisie this season – Attracting Arsenal interest

Tottenham have lost some promising young talents from their academy in recent years, some of whom have gone on to grow tremendously in the game.

The North Londoners recently lost talented midfielder, Luis Binks to Montreal Impact, while striker Reo Griffiths decided to swap the Spurs academy for Lyon.

Noni Madueke, another promising talent who came through Tottenham’s youth system, now seems to be on fire in the Eredivisie.

The attacking midfielder was highly thought of at Tottenham and went on to captain the club’s under-16 side.

He even made his under-18 debut at the age of 15, which shows how highly rated he was among the club’s academy coaches.

The teenager completed a move to PSV Eindhoven in 2018 and his decision now seems to have finally come good.

The 18-year-old has broken into PSV’s first-team this season and has three goals and two assists in six appearances for the side so far (tranfermarkt.com).

To make matters worse for Spurs, Madueke is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham’s North London rivals, with Mikel Arteta’s side being linked with a move for him in January (Daily Mail).

If he keeps his form up, it could be just a matter of time before the attacking midfielder returns to English football to haunt his former club.
