Ex-Spurs legend claims he may return to the club

Tottenham Hotspur may be taking on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, but all eyes will be on the new Spurs stadium on Saturday.

The club are hosting their second test event at the newly opened ground, after the romping success of the under 18s match last week.

45,000 fans will flock to the 62,000 seat stadium to check out the new state-of-the-art facilities and get their bums on their new seats.

The match itself will also be a treat for the supporters in attendance, as an array of Tottenham legends are set to take on Inter Forever.

The likes of Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Jermaine Jenas, Jurgen Klinsmann and Rafa Van Der Vaart are lined up to take to the new White Hart Lane turf.

Van Der Vaart also claims that this may not be his last visit to the new stadium, hinting at a future role with the club he misses so dearly.

He said (Standard): “I hate goodbyes. I’m 100 per cent sure that we stay in contact and that I’m going to be there a lot more times. In which role, I don’t know yet. So, no goodbye, just hello again.”
