Ex-Spurs man claims only one player would get into West Ham XI right now

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Jamie O’Hara has claimed that only Heung-min Son would get into the current West Ham United team.

This comment came after Spurs lost 1-0 to the Hammers at the London Stadium, the club’s fourth London derby defeat of the season already.

Antonio was the hero for West Ham as he wrestled free of Harry Kane and tapped home from close range after a Cresswell corner, with the Hammers hitman seemingly getting the O’Hara nod over the England captain.

The Spurs academy graduate claimed that Tottenham have fallen so far of late and that Son is the only star who would ‘maybe’ earn a place in David Moyes’ starting XI.

This would discount the likes of Kane, Cristian Romero, Hugo Lloris, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, Tanguy Ndombele and more.

O’Hara said: ‘The embarrassing thing is I look at Spurs team and I think do any of our players even get in West Ham’s side right now, maybe Son, that’s how far we’ve fallen.’

Spurs Web Opinion:

I think this statement is a bit far as plenty of the Spurs players would get into West Ham’s team. However, a few years ago I wouldn’t have taken any West Ham players, these days you would take half the team for Tottenham.
