Ex-Spurs manager heading into the I’m a Celeb jungle

Ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has been confirmed by ITV as one of the initial ten celebrities heading into the jungle this week as part of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2018.

Redknapp served as Spurs manager from October 2008 (Telegraph) until June 2012 when he was sacked by Daniel Levy.

During his time at Spurs, Redknapp guided the club to their first taste of Champions League football.

They made it all the way to the quarter finals on their first attempt, beating the likes of Inter Milan and AC Milan along the way.

Redknapp managed the likes of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Rafa Van der Vaart, Jermain Defoe and a host of other superstars.

Redknapp joins actress Sair Khan, presenter Nick Knowles, singer Fleur East, Vamps member James McVey, Chase star Anne Hegerty, actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, US TV star John Barrowman, and Eastenders’ Roxy Mitchell aka Rita Simons.

I’m sure many Spurs fans will be tuning in to see how their old gaffer copes in Australia.

Who knows, maybe he’ll airlift in Niko Kranjcar to help out.
