Ex-Spurs midfielder makes Premier League top four prediction featuring Arsenal

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has predicted his old club to finish in third place in the Premier League next season.

Spurs have been attracting attention heading into the new campaign, strengthening their squad massively with six new players arriving in North London.

The likes of Richarlison, Yves Bissouma and Ivan Perisic have headlined the club’s acquisitions so far as they prepare for their first full season under Antonio Conte.

With more movement expected in the coming weeks in terms of outgoings (Evening Standard), hopes at Spurs are high as they seek to improve on their previous fourth-place finish.

And with less than a fortnight to go until the opening weekend, O’Hara believes Spurs will have enough quality to claim third behind Manchester City and Liverpool and ahead of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

He said (Sky Sports via Football Daily): “Man City I think will run away with it this season, Liverpool second.

“Spurs are going to finish third and Arsenal are going to finish fourth. Chelsea are out of the top four and are going to finish fifth.”

Tottenham have listened to what Conte has requested this summer and made moves towards improving his squad. They were relatively close to a third-place finish last season despite the poor periods they had at points, so achieving that spot is not out of the question.
