Ex-Spurs player backs a derby day Kane hattrick

Ex-Tottenham star Graham Roberts has backed Harry Kane to finally break his August scoring duck against Fulham today.

Spurs’ main man has remarkably gone 14 games in August without scoring a single goal, and the 25-year-old will be desperate to wipe this particular stat from his record.

Not only is Roberts predicting an end to the barren run, but he actually thinks that Kane will bag a hattrick in the London derby at Wembley.

He tweeted: “Backing Harry Kane to bury his August goal drought tomorrow. Can see him scoring a hattrick! COYS!”

Harry Kane managed to score three goals last time out against today’s opponents, newly promoted Fulham, in a 2017 FA Cup third round match.

The England striker has now won three golden boots in as many years.

Despite heading into the 3 o’clock game off a slightly under par run of form, Kane will be hoping that 2018 will be the end of his August curse.
