Ex-Tottenham chairman claims ‘Spurs have gone’ and Kane is struggling

Tottenham Hotspur are down to 12th in the Premier League, dropping down yet another place after their draw at home to Sheffield United this weekend.

Sheffield went into the game flying high in sixth, the kind of position many would have expected Tottenham to be around at this stage in the season.

Spurs have now dropped ten points from winning positions in the Premier League alone this season, with two of those coming today at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Despite Sheffield United outplaying Spurs for the first hour, Tottenham managed to grab a goal against the run of play through Heung Min Son.

They were then gifted a hefty slice of luck when Sheffield’s equaliser was ruled offside by millimetres, but the Blades scored again soon after.

The match ended 1-1, and ex-Spurs chairman, Alan Sugar, has now claimed that the club has ‘gone’. He added that the fighting spirit had vanished and that Kane was struggling.
