Exclusive: Video: Ramon Vegas on the ‘huge challenge’ Daniel Levy faces

Ramon Vega believes that Daniel Levy has a huge challenge ahead of him to build a Tottenham Hotspur team that can challenge for honours for the next three to five years.

The former defender, who was speaking exclusively to SpursWeb believes that while the club have invested a lot of money into the facilities including the training ground and new stadium, the focus now has to switch to on-field matters and assembling a squad that can once again compete.

Vega believes there are already players within the current squad that can be part of the future and whether Harry Kane leaves is irrespective since big players will come and go, while the club will always remain.

The 49-year-old stressed however that even if Kane does remain at the club there is still a need for another striker to be recruited who is of the same level to help fill the void should he be injured or out of form.
